Privacy Policy

SPREE is a product-discovery directory. We collect as little as possible to run the site, measure outbound clicks, and prevent abuse.

What we collect

• Click & device data.When you follow an outbound link we record the link, your IP address (and the country derived from it), the referring page, and your browser's user-agent.
• Drop-alert subscriptions.If you turn on watchlist push alerts, we store your browser's push subscription (its endpoint and encryption keys) and the products you watch. Turn alerts off and the record is deleted; dead or stale subscriptions are pruned automatically.
• Local preferences.Settings like sound/music are stored in your browser's local storage — they are never sent to us.

How we use it

To operate and improve the directory, attribute affiliate clicks, keep the service available (rate-limiting and abuse prevention), and — if you turned on push alerts — notify you when a watched price drops.

Third parties

Outbound links take you to independent shopping agents that have their own privacy practices. We use ipinfo.io to turn an IP into a country, Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and a hosting provider to serve the site. We do not sell your personal data.

Cookies

We use Google Analytics, which sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) to measure visits and usage in aggregate. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Preferences use local storage; outbound-click tracking is keyed on IP, not cookies.

Your choices

You can turn off push alerts at any time from the watchlist page or your browser settings, and may request access to or deletion of data associated with you. To exercise these rights, contact us through the channel listed on the site.
